48 horas en París

El mundo está patas arriba. No entraré en temas políticos, pero nadie puede negar la realidad: Europa va mal. España va mal. Francia va mal. Mis dos ‘tierras madre’ sufren. París se ha convertido en una ciudad con miedo. Sigue siendo fuerte, libre, abierta, luchadora, pero tiene miedo. Y lo acontecido en Niza la pasada semana no mejora su estado de alarma. Pero hay que tener cuidado. Hay que vencer el miedo y dejar que reinen nuestras libertades.
Echo de menos París muchas veces, y espero que la ciudad siga brillando. La visité hace un mes y medio, para grabar un programa de televisión para el canal De Casa. ¡Y me lo pasé divinamente! París brillaba, la temperatura era perfecta, y recorrí mis tiendas favoritas para presentarselas al programa y a su maravillosa presentadora (que quiero considerar amiga): Laura Opazo. Recuerdo esos dos días en París con mucha luz. Con luz y sonrisas. Por el maravilloso equipo con los que compartí mi viaje, por lo bien que lo pasamos frente (y detrás de) a la cámara…y por París. Por sus calles, su comida, su energía…¡Y por el hotel en el que descansé!
Su nombre es Adèle et Jules, es nuevecito, y tiene un encanto indescriptible, que solo pueden transmitir estas fotos que os dejo. Siempre me gusta descubrir hoteles nuevos en París. Y este hotel boutique forma parte de los más bonitos en los que he podido dormir.

The world is upside down. I will not go into political issues, but no one can deny the reality: Europe is not doing well at all. Spain is not good either. France is sick. My two ‘motherlands’ are suffering. Paris has become a city with fear. It remains as strong as possible, free, open, joyful, but it is afraid. And what happened in Nice last week doesn’t help the country to keep on being as much calm as possible. But I think they have to be careful. We must overcome fear and let our freedoms prevail.
I miss Paris many times, and I hope the city will continue to shine. I visited it a month and a half ago, to film a TV show for Canal De Casa. And it was so much fun! Paris was shining, the temperature was perfect, and to visit my favorite stores to introduce them to the program and its wonderful hostess (which I consider a friend): Laura Opazo was just so much pleasure. I remember those two days in Paris with lots of light colours and happiness. With light colours and smiles. I remember it that way thanks to the wonderful team with whom I shared my journey…and Paris. Its streets, its food, its energy … and the hotel I stayed at!
His name is Adèle et Jules, it is a brand new one and has an indescribable charm, which I can only try to transmit through these pictures that I want to show you. I really enjoy myself discovering new hotels in Paris. And this boutique hotel is one of the nicest I’ve ever seen.
