Si quieres, te invitamos a depositar aquí tu iphone y a deshacerte de él durante tu estancia.’ Las palabras de bienvenida del recepcionista del Landscape hotel VIVOOD, del que acabo de volver, anunciaban el plan y el máximo propósito de mi estancia: desconectar. No os voy a engañar: jamás me deshice de mi iPhone. Imposible. Pero conseguí desconectar.
VIVOOD representa el nacimiento de un nuevo concepto en España: los hoteles paisaje. 84000 metros cuadrados en la sierra de Guadalest, Alicante. 25 suites individuales. 25 módulos diseminados y totalmente integrados en plena naturaleza. 25 maravillas con cristalera y unas vistas increíbles. Una invitación a dormir, vivir, comer y descansar en medio de árboles, montañas y un entorno impresionante. No sé si supe desconectar (la maravillosa conexión de wifi que reina sobre todo el terreno no ayudaba). Soy demasiado nerviosa. Pero es curioso ver hasta que punto el nuevo lujo reside en conceptos, sentimientos, experiencias que no conseguimos vivir en nuestro día a día: volver a tranquilizarnos, respirar, frenar. Vivood ofrece eso, y merece mucho la pena probar.

I’m not going to lie: I never forgot or left my iPhone. Impossible.
VIVOOD represents the birth of a new concept in Spain: the landscape hotel. 84000 square meters in the mountains of Guadalest, Alicante. 25 individual suites. 25 fully integrated modules built into the nature. 25 suites with an amazing window glass and incredible views. An invitation to sleep, live, eat and rest in the middle of trees, mountains and a stunning setting. I don’t know if I really succeeded in the disconnection purpose (the wonderful wifi connection that rules all over the land did not help). I’m too nervous. But it is curious to see how that the new luxury lies in concepts, feelings, experiences that we aren’t able to live in our daily lives anymore: the act of calming down again, breathing, stopping for a few days our hours. Vivood provides that, and it’s worth trying.
